Léos Carax

Leos Carax (Suresnes, France. 1960) made his debut with Boy Meets Girl (1984), winner of the Youth Award at Cannes. Next came Mauvais sang (1986), which gave him the Alfred Bauer Prize in Berlin, The Lovers on the Bridge (1991), Pola X (1999), Official Selection at Cannes, and one of the segments of the film Tokyo! (2008). In 2012 he once again competed in Cannes with Holy Motors, winning the Youth Award. His feature Annette (2021) garnered Best Director at Cannes and the César in the same category. The medium length It’s Not Me screened in the Cannes Premiere section.
