El Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM) abre la décima convocatoria de Impulso Morelia, espacio privilegiado de encuentro entre cineastas mexicanos y profesionales de la escena cinematográfica mundial.

Un programa de proyectos de largometraje mexicanos (de ficción o documental) en etapa de postproducción será presentado de forma exclusiva a los profesionales participantes, como oportunidad única destinada a propiciar una reflexión positiva sobre las propuestas, su conclusión, promoción y circulación. El FICM constituye un panel internacional de expertos para analizar, con espíritu respetuoso y constructivo, cada propuesta del programa y establecer un diálogo útil para sus autores.

What films, genres, themes, and figures have built Mexican cinema? Through the column Voz en off, researcher, critic, writer, and screenwriter Rafael Aviña will analyze and reflect on the works and their creators that have woven Mexico's cinematographic history.

FICM presenta the platform for the Morelia International Film Festival responsible for continuously promoting film culture in Mexico and worldwide. It also aims to build and expand new audiences across the country, to enhance and enrich local culture through cinema.

MORELIA PRO gathers a series of projects aimed at professionals in the cinematography industry that occur in the months before and during the Morelia International Film Festival. These activities intend to contribute to the professional training and updating of Mexican filmmakers as well as to promote specific areas of the Mexican film industry, strengthening the various links involved in the creation, production, and distribution of film projects.
