At the 11th FICM, he presented his second feature film Besos de azúcar (2013), which also participated in the 21st San Diego Latino Film Festival (SDLFF), among others, and which received eight nominations at the 43rd Silver Goddess Awards, Mexico, including Best Picture, Best Direction, Best Screenplay and Best Editing.
