He participated in the 11th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM) with his short fiction film Hora cero (2013), which was presented at more than 20 festivals around the world, including the 4th New York City International Film Festival (NYCIFF); the 16th Guanajuato International Film Festival (GIFF); the 21st San Diego Latino Film Festival (SDLFF); and the Short Film Corner at the 66th Cannes Film Festival.
