The favor (2006), presented at the 4th FICM, received a Special Mention at the 8th CineVegas Film Festival, Las Vegas, and the Best Actor Award at the 5th San Diego Film Festival. La Santa Muerte (2007), which participated in the 5th FICM, won the Best Feature Documentary Award at the 8th Latin American Film Festival of Trieste, Italy. Los ojos azules (2011) was part of the Official Selection of the Mexican Feature Documentary section at the 9th FICM and was presented at the NewFilmmakers, New York, 2012.
