She has presented her films at more than 20 film showings and festivals around the world and at four editions of the Morelia International Film Festival (FICM). Niños de la calle (2003) won the Best Feature Documentary Award at the 1st FICM and it was nominated in the categories of Feature Documentary and First Work at the 45th Ariel Awards. The favor (2006), presented at the 4th FICM, received a Special Mention at the 8th CineVegas Film Festival, Las Vegas, and the Best Actor Award at the 5th San Diego Film Festival. La Santa Muerte (2007), which participated in the 5th FICM, won the Best Feature Documentary Award at the 8th Latin American Film Festival of Trieste, Italy. Los ojos azules (2011) was part of the Official Selection of the Mexican Feature Documentary section at the 9th FICM and was presented at the NewFilmmakers, New York, 2012.
