Medical examiner Juan Carlos Lozano investigates a series of women’s murders. After having nightmares about a mysterious faceless man, he wishes to drop the case. He then turns to his psychiatrist friend Eugenio Britel, who encourages him to keep investigating and undergo treatment to figure out what’s causing his dreams. Britel suspects there is a connection between Lozano’s behavior, the nightmares, and the murdered women.
