For years Abraham mainly worked cutting down trees to produce charcoal, but the Maya community didn?t agree with tree felling, and finally put a stop to it. At this time, the Mennonites were apprehensive and their children were afraid of the Mayas, just as the Mayas were frightened by the Mennonites. Today, these two very different cultures live in peace. This documentary focuses on the relationship between them and portrays the Mennonites? way of life from the point of view of a Maya director.
