Image Viveros; Mario Dirección, Edición, Guión Estudió la licenciatura en Periodismo y Comunicación Colectiva en la Facultad de Estudios Superiores de Acatlán (FES Acatlán), de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), y Cinematografía en el Centro Universitario de Estudios Cinematográficos (CUEC-UNAM), Ciudad de México. Actualmente, cursa la maestría en Cine Documental por parte de la Facultad de Artes y Diseño (FAD-UNAM) y del CUEC-UNAM. Además, trabaja como investigador, realizador, cinefotógrafo y editor, en el colectivo Canal Seis de Julio; como asesor académico en la Universidad Autónoma de la Ciudad de México (UACM), donde desarrolla el proyecto Laboratorio Audiovisual del Colegio de Humanidades y Ciencias Sociales (CHyCS); y como profesor de cine documental en la Asociación Mexicana de Cineastas Independientes (AMCI), en la Ciudad de México. Dentro de su trabajo de investigación académica, se encuentra, entre otras actividades, el artículo “Zerkalo: El espejo de Tarkovsky, análisis de realización”, publicado en la revista Estudios Cinematográficos, no. 23, del CUEC-UNAM, 2004, y el capítulo “La enseñanza del Documental, otra forma de resistencia”, dentro del libro Poetics of Resistance and Emancipation Cultural and Poetic Practices, próximo a publicarse. Ha trabajado en más de 60 documentales y cortometrajes de ficción, y ha participado en numerosos festivales alrededor del mundo, entre ellos, el 1er Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM), con su cortometraje de ficción En los cuernos de la Luna (2002). Obtuvo, entre otros reconocimientos, los premios a Mejor Documental y a Mejor Edición en el 8° Festival Pantalla de Cristal, Ciudad de México, por su largometraje documental Halcones: Terrorismo de Estado (2006).
