Su obra ha recorrido más de 30 muestras y festivales alrededor del mundo, entre ellos, seis ediciones del Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM). En el 3er FICM estrenó su ópera prima Sexo impostor (2005), nominada a la Diosa de Plata a Mejor Largometraje en la 35ª entrega de las Diosas de Plata, México. Participó entre otros festivales, en el 4° FICM y en el 29° Festival International du Film sur l’Art (FIFA), Montreal, con su largometraje documental A través de A(lan) Glass (2006), ganador del premio a Mejor Director y Mejor Edición en el 9° Festival Pantalla de Cristal, México. La noche más venturosa (2007) se presentó en el 5° FICM y obtuvo el premio a la Mejor Fotografía en el 10° Festival Pantalla de Cristal. Presentó su cortometraje documental Rara Avis (1985) en el 6° FICM, en el Museo de la Ciudad de México y en el Museo de Arte Moderno (MAM), entre otros. Participó en el 7° FICM y en el 2° Encuentro Internacional de Documentales de Artes ARTES.DOCS, Ciudad de México, con su cortometraje de animación El gabinete surrealista de Alan Glass (2009). En el 10° FICM presentó su cortometraje documental La casa de Luis Barragán. Un valor universal (2011), que participó, entre otras muestras y festivales, en el 27° Festival Internacional de Cine en Guadalajara (FICG); en el 31°FIFA, Montreal; y en el Festival de Cine de Bogotá (Bogocine). Obtuvo, por esta obra, los premios a Mejores Efectos, Mejor Música Original y Mejor Dirección de Arte en el 14° Festival Pantalla de Cristal. Su largometraje documental Remedios Varo. Misterio y revelación (2013) se presentó en el Centro Pompidou, París; en el Tour de Cine DOCUMENTArte, en el marco del 28° FICG, y en el 29° FICG.
