Image Zonana; David He started his career in film production in Lucía Films in 2012, where he has collaborated in several feature films: 600 Millas (2014), by Gabriel Ripstein; Los herederos (2015), by Jorge Hernández Aldana; and Chronic (2015), by Michel Franco. His first short film Princesa (2014) participated in the 5th UK Film Festival, United Kingdom; the 18th Guanajuato International Film Festival (GIFF), México; the 10th Short Shorts Film Festival Mexico (SSFFM); and was part of the Official Selection of the 13th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM). His short fiction film Dim Blood (2016) is part of the Official Selection of the 14th FICM. Other Movies Mexico will no longer exist! A frenetic view runs over a convulsed Mexico City, a colossal metropolis sustained by the myth of "mestizaje" and other colonial forms of violence. Past and present weave a flurry of images; fragmented memories of this land. Ancient deities are incarnated, while dreams overlap among intimacy, complicity and the tumult. With a Super-8 camera that once belonged to his father and has remained untouched for 41 years, he plans to retrace the path of the shepherd: the journey of transhumance that his grandfather undertook in his youth, following now-forgotten coordinates.
