She has participated in various filmmaking appreciation classes and workshops. She formed part of the Guanajuato Film Collective, with which she made several short films. In 2015, she received a grant from the Support Program for Production and Artistic and Cultural Development in the area of film from the Cultural Institute of León (ICL, in Spanish), Mexico. Her short film Querido Santa Clos (2010) participated in the 14th Guanajuato International Film Festival (GIFF). Her short film L’appel (2015) won the Best Short Film Award at the 17th GIFF and was part of the Official Selection of the 13th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM).
