It also participated in the 26th Moscow International Film Festival, Russia, and in the 51st Valladolid International Film Festival Seminci, Spain, among others. This work won two awards for Best First Feature: at the 21st Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG) and at the Festival des Films du Monde de Montréal (FFM Montréal), Canada, as well as an Ariel for Best Actress for Elizabeth Cervantes at the 48th Ariel Awards, Mexico.
