Sorokdo is a Korean island where the scars of war, the suffering of the people, and the injustices of society are still evident. The aim of this film is to raise awareness about the value of human existence by describing the life of those who have been afflicted by leprosy, and the prejudices, selfishness, ignorance, and fear around this illness, as well as the difference between what is normal and abnormal in society
