Residents from the ejido (communal land) "Los Cuates de Australia" in northeast Mexico, prepare for a mass exodus every year in search of water during the dry season. While in exile, men, women, elders and children wait for the first drops of water before returning to their lands, a metaphor of a small town that, along the way, hides from death.
