In a little-known border between New York State and Quebec, crossing on the Mohawk reservation, the lure of fast money from smuggling presents a daily challenge to single mothers who would otherwise be earning minimum wage. Two women, one white, one Mohawk, both single mothers faced with desperate circumstances, are drawn into the world of border smuggling across the frozen water of the St. Lawrence River.

¡Aoquic iez in Mexico! ¡Ya México no existirá más!

A frenetic view runs over a convulsed Mexico City, a colossal metropolis sustained by the myth of "mestizaje" and other colonial forms of violence.
