This documentary chronicles the efforts of the Ballet Preljocaj to choreograph an ethereal piece by the icon of 21st century music, Karlheinz Stockhausen. Shot during the dance company’s rehearsals, the film is a testament to three art forms in dialogue and to the ineluctable human desire to translate one into another -- sounds to gesture, gesture to image.
