Two marriages get carried away by passion, ambition, and the anxiety which leads them to conflict and chaos. Alfie leaves his wife for a younger woman. Helena runs into the arms of a widower. Sally falls in love with her boss. Roy becomes obsessed with Dia, a mysterious owman who seduces him despite being on the verge of marriage. Despite each character’s attempts to remain sane, they will all have to face the pain that results from irrational choices.
