Laura is a young freelance writer who only leaves her apartment to go shopping. She is an inveterate optimistic who insists on seeing positive situations where there is nothing but dead-end streets. While she eats directly from a can she talks with her mother and describes to her the delicious food she claims to be eating. She also tells her that she is very close to her neighbors, who don’t even know she exists. Although her life is dominated by lies, cruel reality sets in.
