Mariana Mendivil es artista visual y cineasta mexicana. Egresada de la Escuela Nacional de Artes Cinematográficas (ENAC-UNAM). Su trabajo explora el collage, la animación y el cine experimental, abordando temas como el cuerpo, la memoria y el desarraigo. Es directora del cortometraje Memoria de un cuerpo desplazado (2024), ganador de Mejor Cortometraje en la
categoría Aciertos en FICUNAM y seleccionado en festivales en México, Alemania, Croacia, China, Colombia, Perú, Uruguay, Portugal, Brasil, entre otros. Su obra de collage se ha exhibido en exposiciones colectivas e individuales en México, Italia y Croacia, participando en bienales y festivales de técnicas análogas. Fue codirectora de Incrustaciones, mediometraje realizado con la Cátedra Contreras (UNAM), cuya videoinstalación se presentó en el MUAC.
