Durante cerca de una década trabajó en distintas áreas de la producción cinematográfica, colaborando en películas como La región salvaje (2016), de Amat Escalante; Tempestad (2016), de Tatiana Huezo, y Roma (2018), de Alfonso Cuarón. En 2022 debutó como director de largometraje con Un lugar llamado música, documental que retrata el encuentro entre el violinista wixárika Daniel Medina y el compositor estadounidense Philip Glass. La película formó parte de la Selección Oficial de Documental Mexicano del 20.º Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM), participó en Ambulante y se presentó en el Festival Internacional de Cine de Shanghái en 2023.
