Formada como Ingeniera Técnico de Telecomunicación con especialidad en Sonido e Imagen por la Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha, España; la Technische Universität Graz, en Austria, y el Instituto Tecnológico de Sonora, México; y en 2010 realizó la carrera intensiva de Cine en la Asociación Mexicana de Cineastas Independientes, en México. Estudió el Máster en Documental de Creación en la Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona Es socia cofundadora de La Sandía Digital, Laboratorio de Cultura Audiovisual A.C., en donde es realizadora, cinefotógrafa y editora. Dirigió, produjo y editó su corto documental Mirando al cielo (2011), selección oficial de festivales como el Festival Internacional de Cine de Bogotá, en Colombia; del Festival Internacional de Cine de los Derechos Humanos de Bolivia, Bolivia, entre otros. Después, el cortometraje Nora, el sabor de su boca (2012), codirigido con Carolina Corral, fue ganador del 3º Premio en el Concurso de documentales “Género y Justicia”, en México, y seleccionado por festivales como el Festival de Cine Mujeres de Santiago, en Chile, y del Festival internacional de Cine por los Derechos Humanos Bogotá, Colombia. Ese mismo año presentó el largometraje documental Son duros los días sin nada, selección oficial de la Muestra Internacional de Cine con Perspectiva de Género, MICGénero, ganador del Primer Premio en la categoría “Mujeres” en la Muestra de cine: Contra el silencio todas la voces, en la Ciudad de México. En 2013 presenta Mouvement y en 2014, Acuario, ambos selección oficial en el Festival de Cine de la Ciudad de Quebec, Canadá. Sus películas El remolino (2016), La mami (2019) y el corto ¿Me vas a gritar? (2018) fueron presenados en Locarno, IDFA, Festival San Sebastián, MoMA, SXSW, Zurich, Clermont Ferrand, Palm Spring, Morelia, Guadalajara;entre otros.
