Ha realizado diversos proyectos en el ámbito cinematográfico que van desde la producción hasta la dirección. Es directora de la Fundación Todo por el cine A.C. del Festival Internacional Cine en el Campo (FICC) y de la productora Cornea Films. Su obra ha recorrido más de 20 festivales en el mundo. Su cortometraje La savia vida (Kalan) (2005), Selección Oficial en el 3er FICM, fue ganador a Mejor cortometraje en el Festival Internacional de Cine Tercer Milenio, Guadalajara, México; Mientras tú no estás (2006) fue ganador a Mejor cortometraje en el Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes Cine, Cultura y Vida, México; en 2008 presentó Matilda, Selección Oficial en el 6º FICM; en 2010 fue el turno de El camino a donde voy, nominado en la 52 entrega del Ariel y segundo lugar en el Festival de Cine y Video Indígena, en Morelia, México, y La aventura de Monochoa, Mejor Cortometraje Documental en la Cumbre de Cine Ambiental, Cancún, México. En 2014 estrenó su ópera prima Never give up (Compasión en acción), largometraje documental seleccionado en diversos festivales como el Random Film Festival, en Estonia. En 2015 presentó Las aventuras de Itzel y Sonia: En busca de los guardianes del agua, ganadora del Premio Cuenca a la Mejor Película realizada en la Cuenca de Balsas en el marco de Cinema Planeta.
