Image Jonard; Dominique Animación, Dirección, Dirección de arte, Edición, Fotografía, Guión, Producción, Reparto, Sonido Cineasta y artista independiente, estudió Bellas Artes en Lyon, Francia. Con el apoyo del FONCA, IMCINE y las fundaciones MacArthur y Rockefeller, inició su trabajo de animación con niños de comunidades indígenas en diversos estados de México como Campeche y Michoacán. Entre los proyectos destacan los cortometrajes Desde adentro (1996), ganador de diversos premios alrededor del mundo como el primer lugar de Animación en Festival Internacional de Cine de La Habana, Cuba, el Primer Lugar en Animación en el San Francisco International Film Festival y el Premio especial del Jurado en el 2° Festival Internacional de Cine Familiar de Seúl, Corea. En 1998, su cortometraje Santo golpe, recibe el Ariel de Plata a Mejor Animación. En 2004 ingresa al Sistema Nacional de Creadores de Arte y en 2007, por su trayectoria, le es otorgado el premio Eréndira, reconocimiento que entrega el gobierno de Michoacán a través de la Secretaría de Cultura; además, ha sido jurado en IMCINE, FONCA y en el Festival Internacional del Nuevo Cine Latinoamericano de la Habana, Cuba. Desde 2003, diversos de sus trabajos han sido parte de la Selección Oficial del FICM como Un poquito de…y Un perro sueño, en 2009, su cortometraje ¿Y el agua?, fue ganador como Mejor Animación en la Sección de Cortometrajes Mexicanos del FICM. En 2010 su cortometraje R con R ganó el premio como Mejor Cortometraje en el Festival de Cine Ambiental celebrado en Cancún, México; en 2014, su trabajo Son nuestros bosques obtuvo la Mención Honorifica en el Festival de Cine Indígena en Morelia, Michoacán. Other Movies Mexico will no longer exist! A frenetic view runs over a convulsed Mexico City, a colossal metropolis sustained by the myth of "mestizaje" and other colonial forms of violence. Past and present weave a flurry of images; fragmented memories of this land. Ancient deities are incarnated, while dreams overlap among intimacy, complicity and the tumult. This is an erratic film that invites us to reimagine the complex relationship we have with the constructed “mexicanidad.” See More Ziuta travesías Ziuta, a Polish Jewish survivor of World War II, was an extraordinary woman who sparked special devotion for her political commitment and her support for clandestine struggle. As a teenager, Ziuta weathered exile with fortitude and determination, saving her mother and other relatives from perishing in their flight. With a Super-8 camera that once belonged to his father and has remained untouched for 41 years, he plans to retrace the path of the shepherd: the journey of transhumance that his grandfather undertook in his youth, following now-forgotten coordinates.
