Image Gómez Córdova; Sofía Dirección, Edición, Guión Originaria de Aguascalientes, estudió la licenciatura en Artes Audiovisuales en el Departamento de Imagen y Sonido (DIS) de la Universidad de Guadalajara (U. de G.), Jalisco, donde trabaja actualmente como profesora. Se ha dedicado principalmente a la edición cinematográfica, en obras como Luces negras (2009) de Samuel Kishi Leopo y Me parezco tanto a ti (2011) de Luna Marán, así como en la co-edición de los largometrajes documentales La hora de la siesta (2014) de Carolina Platt Soberanes y Retratos de una búsqueda (2014) de Alicia Calderón, ambos seleccionados en el 12° Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM). Recientemente, incursionó en el guionismo, área donde destaca su trabajo en la ópera prima de Samuel Kishi Leopo, Somos Mari Pepa (2013), seleccionada en el 11° FICM, y ganadora del Premio de la Prensa en el 16° Festival Internacional de Cine de Guanajuato (GIFF por sus siglas en inglés) y de una Mención Honorífica en el 31° Festival Internacional de Cine de Miami (MIFF por sus siglas en inglés). Su obra como directora ha recorrido más de 10 festivales alrededor del mundo. Participó, con su cortometraje de ficción Historia de un matrimonio (2006), en el 5° St. Petersburg International Festival of Debut and Student Film BEGINNING, Rusia, y en el 6° Festival Internacional de Cine Estudiantil de Písek (MSFPÍSEK por sus siglas en checo), República Checa. Obtuvo el Segundo Lugar en el 6° Female Sessions y el Primer Lugar en la categoría de Ficción del 4° Certamen de Cortometrajes, en Guadalajara, México, por Día de campo (2011). Su cortometraje de ficción La última batalla contra las malditas palomas (2014) formó parte de la Selección Oficial del 12° FICM. Actualmente, se encuentra trabajando en su ópera prima Los ojos de Schrödinger, por cuyo proyecto participó en el Guadalajara Talents 2014, en el marco del 29° Festival Internacional de Cine en Guadalajara (FICG); del International Pitching Market durante el 17° GIFF; y del Rotterdam Lab del 43° Festival Internacional de Cine de Rotterdam (IFFR por sus siglas en inglés), Países Bajos.
