Participó en el 3er Festival Internacional de Cine de Horror de la Ciudad de México Macabro (Macabro FICH) con su cortometraje de ficción Stardust (2002). Participó en el 4° Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM), en el 22° Festival Internacional de Cine en Guadalajara (FICG) y en el 5° Festival Internacional de Cine Contemporáneo de la Ciudad de México (FICCO), con su cortometraje de ficción Proyecto Panorama (2006). Su largometraje documental Cárcel de carne (2009) ganó una Mención Honorífica a Mejor Documental en el 4° Festival Internacional de Cine Documental de la Ciudad de México DocsDF y el premio a Mejor Documental en el 3er Festival Internacional de Cine de Cancún Riviera Maya. Participó en el 8° FICM y en el Short Film Corner del 64° Festival de Cannes con su cortometraje documental Sólo pase la persona que se va a retratar (2009), que ganó el Ariel a Mejor Cortometraje Documental en la 52ª entrega de los premios Ariel y el Premio del Jurado a Mejor Documental en el 4° DocsDF. Participó en el Taller de Producción Morelia LAB en el marco del 10° FICM para desarrollar el guión La noche adentro del día.
