Ha participado con su obra en tres ediciones del Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM). En el 2° FICM participó con su cortometraje de ficción Corazón de Fanny (2003) y en el 4° FICM con La ventana de Luciano (2006). Su ópera prima Marcelo (2012), que formó parte de la Selección Oficial de Largometraje Mexicano en el 10° FICM, se presentó también en el 28° Festival Internacional de Cine en Guadalajara (FICG), en el 17° Festival de Diversidad Sexual en Cine y Video Mix México, en el 13° Festival Internacional de Cine Gay y Lésbico de Barcelona (FICGLB), y en el 11° Ischia Film & Music Global Fest, Italia. Obtuvo, por ésta última obra, el Primer Premio ex aequo del IV Taller de Perfeccionamiento para Guión Cinematográfico de Largometraje “Alejandro Galindo”, impartido por Vicente Leñero, en la Ciudad de México.
