Desarrolla proyectos documentales colaborativos desde el año 2000, explorando distintos métodos de trabajo y sus posibilidades audiovisuales. Dirige el sello de creación Cuarto Propio en Tijuana; es Fundadora y Directora de Programación de BorDocs Foro Documental en la frontera norte de México; ha sido docente en la Universidad Autónoma de Baja California y la Universidad Iberoamericana; trabaja en relaciones públicas en el estudio de postproducción AIA Post & Color y trabajó bajo el sello Polen desde su creación en 2010 hasta 2013. Ha tomado diversos talleres y cursos de cine, investigación, artes visuales y participado en los espacios formativos: DOCULAB (FICG), DOCS Forum (DOCS DF) y MoreliaLAB (FICM). Ha recibido apoyos como la beca Jóvenes Creadores del Fondo Nacional Para la Cultura y las Artes (FONCA), y el apoyo al Desarrollo de proyectos del IMCINE, Fondo para la Producción Cinematográfica de Calidad (FOPROCINE-IMCINE), entre otras. Sus documentales se han exhibido en diversos festivales, incluyendo tres ediciones del Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM); el International Documentary Festival Amsterdam (IFA); Ambulante, Gira de Documentales; el Latin American Film Festival de Utrecht y el Festival Internacional de Mujeres en el Cine y la Televisión, entre otros. Su documental Que suene la calle (2006) gano, entre otros premios, el Premio del Jurado en el 4° San Diego Women’s Film Festival, y una Mención Honorífica y el Premio Signis de Comunicación en el 3er Encuentro Hispanoamericano de Cine y Video Documental Independiente Contra el Silencio Todas las Voces, México. Su largometraje documental El hogar al revés (2014) formó parte de la Selección Oficial del 12º FICM.
