Image Cardozo; Diana Dirección, Edición, Guión, Producción Diana Cardozo nació en Montevideo, Uruguay en 1962 y tiene nacionalidad mexicana. Ha vivido la mitad de su vida en Ciudad de México donde desarrolla su carrera cinematográfica Estudió Cinematografía en el Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica (CCC), Ciudad de México. Obtuvo la Beca Rockefeller en 2005 Becaria del Sistema Nacional de Creadores de Arte de México y del Tribeca Film Institute de Nueva York. Su obra ha recorrido más de 70 festivales alrededor del mundo, entre ellos dos ediciones del Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM). Obtuvo el premio a Mejor Cortometraje de Ficción en el 1er FICM y el Premio del Público y el Colibrí de Oro por Mejor Cortometraje en el 7ª Encuentro de Cine Sudamericano, Marsella, por La luna de Antonio, que participó también en el 26º Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes Clermont-Ferrand, Francia, entre otros. Obtuvo el premio a Mejor Documental Realizado por una Mujer en el 6º FICM por Siete instantes (2008); ganador además del Premio FIPRESCI y de una Mención Especial en el 27º Festival Cinematográfico Internacional del Uruguay; el premio a Mejor Documental en el 49º Festival Internacional de Cine de Cartagena de Indias (FICCI), Colombia; el Premio FEISAL en el 23º Festival Internacional de Cine en Guadalajara (FICG); y el Premio Primera Cámara en el 12º Encuentro Internacional del Documental de Montreal (RIDM por sus siglas en francés), entre otros.
