Participó en el 5° Festival Internacional de Cine Documental de la Ciudad de México DocsDF y en el 8° Festival de Cine y Derechos Humanos Donostia San Sebastián, España, entre otros, con su largometraje documental Amaren Ideia (2010), por el que obtuvo el premio a Mejor Trabajo de la Sección Michoacana en el 8° Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM) y el premio Delfín de Oro en la categoría de Documental Etnográfico y Sociológico del 1er Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards, Austria. Su cortometraje de ficción Sitios prestados al aire (2011) fue ganador del 11° Concurso Nacional de Cortometraje del Instituto Mexicano de Cinematografía (IMCINE) y de una Mención Especial en el 37° Festival de Cine Iberoamericano de Huelva, España. Participó, con su cortometraje documental Esperanza (2012), en el 7° DocsDF, en el 40° Festival Internacional de Cine de Huesca y en el 7° Festival Internacional y Mercado de Cine Documental de Guía de Isora MiradasDoc, España, entre otros. Past and present weave a flurry of images; fragmented memories of this land. Ancient deities are incarnated, while dreams overlap among intimacy, complicity and the tumult.
