Posteriormente, se mudó a Londres y realizó un curso en cine documental en la National Film & Television School (NFTS) y una maestría en guionismo en la London Film School (LFS). Fue seleccionado para el Talent Campus de la Berlinale 2011 y en el Doculab 2017. Tanto en ficción como en documental, su trabajo lo ha llevado a presentar en festivales de América, Europa y África. Su largometraje Truenos de San Juan se estrenó en el Festival Cronograf de Moldova este año. Su guión El Temporal fue distinguido por el IMCINE para el Estímulo a Desarrollo de Proyectos.
