Obtuvo el premio Ariel a Mejor Cortometraje Documental en la 34ª entrega de los premios Ariel, México, y el Premio CINED por Mejor Contenido Educativo en el 24º Festival Internacional del Nuevo Cine Latinoamericano, La Habana, Cuba, por su cortometraje documental Chenalhó, el corazón de los Altos (2000). Participó, con su cortometraje documental Cristeros y Federales (2011), en el 9º Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM), en el 24º Festival Internacional de Cine en Guadalajara (FICG) y en el 5º Corona Fastnet Short Film Festival, Irlanda, entre otros. Past and present weave a flurry of images; fragmented memories of this land. Ancient deities are incarnated, while dreams overlap among intimacy, complicity and the tumult.
