Image Acevedo; Izabel Dirección, Edición, Guión Estudió la licenciatura en Cinematografía en el Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica (CCC), Ciudad de México, y un postgrado de Guión de Largometraje en la Escuela Superior de Cine y Audiovisuales de Cataluña (ESCAC), Barcelona. Participó en tres ediciones del Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM). En el 8° FICM participó con su cortometraje de ficción Globo azul (2010), selección oficial del Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes en Lambayeque FENACO, Perú; el International Woman´s Film Festival in Seoul, Corea, entre otros. En el 10° FICM obtuvo el premio a Mejor Cortometraje de Ficción con Para armar un helicóptero (2012), que se presentó en más de diez muestras y festivales alrededor del mundo; entre ellos el 42° Festival Internacional de Cine de Rotterdam (IFFR por sus siglas en inglés), la 52° Semana de la Crítica del Festival de Cannes, el 6° Lviv International Short Film Festival Wiz-Art, Ucrania, y el 35° Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes Clermont-Ferrand, Francia, donde obtuvo el premio a Mejor Cortometraje Internacional. Su ópera prima, el largometraje documental El buen cristiano (2016), Selección Oficial del 14° FICM, ha recorrido festivales como el Riviera Maya Film Festival y fue ganador del Premio FEISAL en la edición 31 del Festival Internacional de Cine en Guadalajara (FICG). Actualmente vive y trabaja en Nueva York como realizadora y editora.
