Obtuvo la Beca Jóvenes Creadores del Fondo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes (FONCA), México, en el periodo 2012-2013. Su obra ha recorrido más de 20 festivales alrededor del mundo, entre ellos cuatro ediciones del Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM). En el 6º FICM presentó su cortometraje de ficción Benjamín (2007). En el 9º FICM participó con Cenizas (2011), que se presentó también, entre otros festivales, en el 26° Festival Internacional de Cine en Guadalajara (FICG) y en el 33° Festival Internacional del Nuevo Cine Latinoamericano, La Habana. Este corto ganó el premio a Mejor Actriz para Aitziber Garmendia en el 13° Festival Pantalla de Cristal, Ciudad de México. Su cortometraje de ficción La madre (2012) fue acreedor del Premio Especial Studio 5 de Mayo en el 10° FICM; de una Mención Honorífica en el 8° Festival Internacional de Cine de Monterrey (FIC Monterrey); de una Mención Honorífica en el 7° Short Shorts Film Festival México (SSFFM); y del Premio a Mejor Actriz en el 9° Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes Mas Sorrer, España. Obtuvo el 1er Lugar del concurso de argumento cinematográfico Cinescribir no hay Cine otorgado por Universal Pictures en el marco del 10° FICM. Su cortometraje Las razones del mundo (2015) fue parte de la Selección Oficial del 13° FICM. Other Movies Mexico will no longer exist! Past and present weave a flurry of images; fragmented memories of this land. Ancient deities are incarnated, while dreams overlap among intimacy, complicity and the tumult.
