She won the Reto Kornea prize at the 11th Guanajuato International Film Festival (GIFF) for her short film 4 kilos de recuerdos (2008). She participated in the 10th Morelia International Film Festival with the short film Zurcidos invisibles (2012). Her short film Al ras (2012) participated in the 15th GIFF; in the Short Film Corner at the 66th Cannes Festival; and in the Official Selection at the 8th Short Shorts Film Festival Mexico (SSFFM), among others. Her short fiction film Mercy was part of the 12th FICM's Official Selection.
