Image Reyes Lechuga, Nerránsula She studied cinematography at the CUEC-UNAM film school and received a degree in communication from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), Mexico City. She is currently part of the Stimulus Program for Film Creators of the Mexican Film Institute (IMCINE), in the screenwriting category, with the project Alma Mater. She participated with her documentary short film Los rieles con alma (2004) in the 3rd Morelia International Film Festival (FICM); in the 2nd Women in Film and Television International Festival (MCYTV), Mexico City; and in the 3rd Independent Hispanic American Film and Video Festival, “All Voices Against the Silence,”Mexico, among others. Other Movies Mexico will no longer exist! A frenetic view runs over a convulsed Mexico City, a colossal metropolis sustained by the myth of "mestizaje" and other colonial forms of violence. Past and present weave a flurry of images; fragmented memories of this land. Ancient deities are incarnated, while dreams overlap among intimacy, complicity and the tumult. With a Super-8 camera that once belonged to his father and has remained untouched for 41 years, he plans to retrace the path of the shepherd: the journey of transhumance that his grandfather undertook in his youth, following now-forgotten coordinates.
