He studied design and visual communication at the National School of Visual Arts (ENAP, in Spanish) of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). He came in first place at the 2nd Animasivo, Contemporary Animation Forum and received an honorable mention at the 4th Short Shorts Film Festival Mexico (SSFFM) for El gran bang (2009).
