Papacostas, Andreas “La Mandrágora”

He is the content director of the animation production company Llamarada. He studied design and visual communication at the National School of Visual Arts (ENAP, in Spanish) of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). He came in first place at the 2nd Animasivo, Contemporary Animation Forum and received an honorable mention at the 4th Short Shorts Film Festival Mexico (SSFFM) for El gran bang (2009). His short film A secas (2011), which came in first place for animation at the 1st ECOFILM Festival in Mexico, participated in several festivals around the world, including the 3rd Baghdad International Film Festival, the 4th Animacam in Spain, the 13th Off- Courts Festival in Normandy, France, and the 9th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM).
