He holds a high regard for visual and aesthetic language in his work as a director. He has a personal interest in stories that focus on complex relationships and adulthood. He has directed short fiction films, music videos and worked also as a cinematographer. Recently, his debut documentary Las Hostilidades won the Work in Progress Award at the Los Cabos International Film Festival, the Best Documentary Award at the Morelia International Film Festival (FICM), and the TV UNAM Award at the FICUNAM; it has also been part of the official selection at the IDFA and Hot Docs festivals. He was recently selected to participate in the 2022 edition of the Berlinale Talents Guadalajara.
