His work has been shown at more than 30 festivals around the world, including two editions of the Morelia International Film Festival (FICM). He participated in the 3rd FICM with his medium length documentary Escupir contra el viento (2005). He received a Special Mention at the 9th FICM with his first feature film Malaventura (2011).
