Image Kotz Cornejo, Cristina She received a master’s degree in film directing from the Tisch School of the Arts (TSOA) at New York University (NYU). Her works have been exhibited in more than 20 festivals and screenings around the world. Despertar (2011), which participated at the 9th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM), was also present at the 10th San Sebastian Human Rights Film Festival and the 15th Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival (LALIFF), among other festivals. Her short film Hermanas (2013) participated in the 11th FICM and the 37th Montreal World Film Festival (WWF), among others. Other Movies Mexico will no longer exist! A frenetic view runs over a convulsed Mexico City, a colossal metropolis sustained by the myth of "mestizaje" and other colonial forms of violence. Past and present weave a flurry of images; fragmented memories of this land. Ancient deities are incarnated, while dreams overlap among intimacy, complicity and the tumult.
