Ha realizado diversos documentales y cortometrajes de ficción. Su documental Una Nave per Tornare (1998) se mostró en el IDFA en Ámsterdam. Su cortometraje El Último Consejo (2012) recibió varios premios internacionales y fue nominado a la Diosa de Plata, Premio de la Crítica de Cine Mexicano en el 2013. Ella participó en diferentes programas de desarrollo, como el Cine Qua Non Lab, Berlinale Talents y el Torino Film Lab. Tiempo de lluvia (2018) es su primer largometraje de ficción. Actualmente es docente de cine en la Universidad de Edimburgo.
