Image Herrera Coca; Francisco Fernando He studied Screenwriting at the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica (CCC) in Mexico City. He wrote and directed, in co-direction with Ernesto Baldeón and Fabiola Garita, the short film Encierro infinito (2012). Two years later, he presented Siesta en el tren / Nap in the Train at the 13th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM). This film won the IV Puebla State Contest of Production and Post Production of Short Films, and it traveled in different national and international festivals, including the Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG), the Monterrey International Film Festival and the International Festival of New Latin American Cinema of Havana, Cuba. Other Movies Mexico will no longer exist! A frenetic view runs over a convulsed Mexico City, a colossal metropolis sustained by the myth of "mestizaje" and other colonial forms of violence. Past and present weave a flurry of images; fragmented memories of this land. Ancient deities are incarnated, while dreams overlap among intimacy, complicity and the tumult. This is an erratic film that invites us to reimagine the complex relationship we have with the constructed “mexicanidad.” See More Ziuta travesías Ziuta, a Polish Jewish survivor of World War II, was an extraordinary woman who sparked special devotion for her political commitment and her support for clandestine struggle.
