Image Guisa; María Direction, Edition María Guisa Vázquez is a Mexican film director and editor. Her artistic education includes a Diploma in Visual Arts from the Contemporary Art Workshops [TACO, by its acronym in Spanish, Talleres de arte contemporáneo A.C.] and studies in analog photography at Grier School. She is currently majoring in Cinematography at the Higher School of Film [ESCINE, by its acronym in Spanish, Escuela Superior de Cine].In addition to film direction, she has worked in film editing, taking part in audiovisual projects and music videos. Among her most remarkable works are the following music videos: Luna by Valentina Tross and Ay, mi niña by Jandra, in which she served as director and editor. She has also collaborated on projects produced in partnership with Translúcido Films, where she had the opportunity to develop her directing, editing, and color work skills.In 2026, her short film Agridulce [Bittersweet] was previously screened at the 7th ESCINE Showcase, as part of the works produced by students of the institution.
