González Mijares, Patricia

She studied communication at the Iberoamerican University (UIA, in Spanish) and cinematography at the CCC film school in Mexico City. She received a grant from the National Fund for Culture and the Arts (FONCA), Mexico, for the production of her short documentary film Un maestro… Xavier Francis (1999). She participated in the 5th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM) and the 3rd Mexico City International Contemporary Film Festival (FICCO), among other film showings and festivals, with her short fiction film Llaneras (2006).
