He studied cinematography at New York University (NYU) and photography at the National Superior School of Photography (ENPS), Arles, France, and at the International Center of Photography (ICP), New York. He participated in the 6th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM) with his documentary short film El niño Fidencio y sus hermanos de luz (2008), which was screened at various museums and galleries around the world, such as the French Academy in Rome, Italy, in the exposition Cinematography & Mysticism, in 2007, and Futura – Center for Contemporary Art, Prague, in 2008, in the Atlante Latinoamericano series.
