He has participated in more than 10 festivals around the world, in which he has won several awards, including the Best Short Film at the 3rd and 4th Diamond Screen Festival at Temple University – the first one for Dientes de arena (2010) and the second for Cuando estemos juntos (2011). The last short was presented at the 10th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM).
