He participated in the 9th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM) as the producer and editor of the animated film by Alba Sovietina Estrada Cárdenas, SER O NO ser; and director of the short documentary film Aquí en mi tierra: La memoria y la palabra, which participated in th 9th International Festival of Poor Cinema of Gibara, Cuba. He won first place in the 2nd Desafía Exprés competition at the 1stUNAM International Film Festival (FICUNAM) with his short film El abuelo (2011). He is currently in the preproduction stage of his first feature Óleos en la oscuridad.
