He worked as a teacher in administration and evaluation of media projects and audiovisual and narrative language at the ITESM, campus Monterrey, and film production and directing at the University of Monterrey (UDEM). He participated in the 5th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM) with his short fiction film Sobrecamas (2007), which was nominated for Best International Short Film and Best Actress in a Short Film for Lydia Ávila at the 9th Urban Mediamakers Film Festival (UMFF), Norcross, Georgia.
