He participated with his animated short film Hot Cakes (2012) in the 3rd Lakino – Latin American Film Festival Berlin, Germany; the 24th Toulouse Latin American Film Festival, France; the 7th Short Shorts Film Festival Mexico (SSFFM); and the 11th Latinamerika i Fokus Film and Cultural Festival, Malmö, Sweden, among others. He received for this work a Special Mention at the 18th International Film Festival for Children (…and not so children), “La Matatena,” Mexico City. His animated short film 9:30 (2014) is part of the Official Selection at the 12th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM).
